Description
Our newest bird planter: The Flamingo!!
We form each basket one washer at a time, bend each neck, and legs piece by hand, and cut each tail feather by hand from a salvaged car hood. The bird planter measures approximately about 17.7 inches tall. The basket is approximately about 6.3 inches across. Our planters are handmade and each one will vary slightly.
We repurposed metal washers, rolled steel, a golf club, hedgers (clippers), and a car hood to make this lovely garden, yard, deck, patio, or home art piece.
The bird is painted with Rustoleum paint to slow any rustic patina. Depending on where the bird will be located, we do recommend periodic repainting or clear coating, especially in certain climates.
***Again, the plant in the photos (which is an artificial fern) is not included with the bird planter.
Please take care when handling metal art. There could be rough edges.
